There couldn't be a community in Wisconsin that has more Norwegian atmosphere than Stoughton, WI. What a great place for a stevne! We look forward to meeting new and old friends at our annual gathering. Stoughton and the surrounding countryside have much to offer to our visitors during this event. THURSDAY, AUGUST 12
  9:00 – 9:30 AM Registration at Library Meeting Room
  Activities Family research, pictures from Norway, Video of Norway, walking tour of historic homes.
  2:00 PM Tour & History of Stoughton Opera House
  4:00 PM Sognefjordlag Board Meeting at The Stoughton Inn – members are welcome to attend
  6:00 PM Dinner (on your own) Stoughton Family restaurant is across the street
  9:00 PM Social – Stoughton Inn Meeting Room
     
FRIDAY, AUGUST 13
  9:00 – 3:30 PM Registration and research at the Stoughton Library. Walking tours of historic homes
  9:30 – 12:00 PM Historical Museum visit – woodcarver and rosemaling
  2:00 PM Second chance for Tour & History of Stoughton Opera House, walking tour of historic homes.
  4:30 – 9:00 PM Meet at Stoughton Senior Center for Banquet (meat ball dinner)
  Silent action during the afternoon and evening to benefit Student Exchange Program. Please bring items for sale and MONEY to buy, buy, buy!
  Entertainment to follow dinner
     
SATURDAY, AUGUST 14
  9:00 AM Norwegian breakfast at the Sons of Norway building
  10:00 AM Annual meeting following the breakfast. Have you always wanted to be on the Board of Directors? Here's your chance!
  10:45 AM Tour – bus tour of the Koshkonong Prairie with visits to historic country churches
  4:30 – 9:30 PM Banquet at the Senior Center (Fish Boil by the Sons of Norway)
     
SUNDAY, AUGUST 15
  “Coffee Break” festival at Mandt Park in Stoughton
  Classic cars, arts and crafts, food and coffee

SILENT AUCTION!
The opportunity presents itself once again to help our young students with your participation in the silent auction at our stevne. Due to time restraints, we will have a shortened version. Bidding on items will take place starting late Friday with the auction Friday night. Please bring a donated item to auction off (preferably something Scandinavian related but that's not absolutely necessary - anything you think will sell!).

Registration fee: $25.00 per person (1, 2 or all 3 days)
Banquet Friday Night: $18.00 per person (Norwegian meatball dinner)
Breakfast Saturday: $10.00 per person (at Sons of Norway Building)
Bus Tour Saturday: $10.00 per person (space limited to the first 44 people
Banquet Saturday Night: $18.00 per person (fish boil by Sons of Norway)
